Inhouse CPR CPD at Vicarage Veterinary Centre

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the Vicarage Veterinary Centre in Lincolnshire.

The wonderful team there invited me to conduct an engaging in-house CPR CPD afternoon. Our session focused on refreshing their CPR skills using our CalmPeopleResuscitate CPR package.

CPR Live Event Compressions

The day at Vicarage Veterinary Centre was truly fantastic, filled with insightful learning and practical hands-on experience. The enthusiastic and fully engaged team made the session even more rewarding.

We started with a comprehensive presentation on CPR techniques, covering the latest best practices. We emphasized the importance of each team member’s role during a resuscitation effort, ensuring everyone understood their critical contributions.

Flash Card CPD Workshop

Following the presentation, we moved on to practical workshops designed to enhance the team’s CPR delivery. These sessions encouraged everyone to actively consider the quality of their CPR techniques.

The highlight for many was using the CPR Pro Cube, my new innovative device that provides real-time feedback on compression quality, rate, and depth. This allowed everyone to fine-tune their technique and ensure they are delivering the most effective CPR possible.

One of the key benefits of our in-house CPR CPD session with the CalmPeopleResuscitate package is the wealth of resources provided. Each participant received printed speaker notes for easy reference and a bespoke CPR pocket guide, a handy tool for quick reminders in emergency situations.

The feedback from the Vicarage Veterinary Centre team was overwhelmingly positive. It’s clear that these in-house CPR CPD sessions not only enhance skills but also boost confidence in handling critical situations.
